Terms & Conditions
These are the rules for using Zar Funding. By using our website or signing up, you agree to them. We wrote them in plain words so they are easy to follow.
Who we are
Zar Funding is operated by Claystan LLC, a Wyoming company. In these terms "we" or "us" means Claystan LLC, doing business as Zar Funding. "You" means anyone who uses our service. You can reach us at:

What we do
Zar Funding connects founders with investors through warm intros. We are an introduction service. We are not a broker, a bank, an investment advisor, or a law firm. We do not give financial, legal, or tax advice.
What we charge
- Founders pay one flat fee per intro. We tell you the fee before you agree to it.
- We do not charge monthly retainers.
- We do not charge success fees or commissions.
- Investors do not pay us anything.
- All prices are in US dollars.
Billing
Billing is handled through our parent company, Claystan LLC. Any invoices and payments are processed by Claystan LLC. For anything to do with billing or payments, email billings@claystan.com.
No promise of funding
We make warm intros. We cannot promise that any investor will fund you. We cannot promise any deal will close. Raising money is up to you and the investor.
Refunds
Fees for intros we have already made are non-refundable. If we fall short of something we put in writing, we will either fix it at no extra cost or give you fair credit toward future work.
Stopping the service
You can stop using our service at any time. If we ever set up an ongoing arrangement with you, either side can end it with 30 days notice in writing, and any work already done is billed up to that point.
Your part of the deal
- Give us true and correct information.
- Only share data you have the right to share.
- Follow anti-spam and data laws, such as CAN-SPAM and GDPR.
- Do not scrape, copy, or get around our technical protections.
- Do not pretend to be someone you are not.
- Treat the people we introduce you to with respect.
Intros are for you
When we make an intro, it is for your own use. Please do not pass our contacts around or share our deal flow without asking us first.
Money between you and others
Any deal, term sheet, or payment between a founder and an investor is between the two of you. Zar Funding is not a party to it. We are not responsible for what happens after the intro.
Who owns what
We keep ownership of our methods, frameworks, and the way we work. If we make something custom for you, you get a non-exclusive license to use that deliverable. The text, design, and brand on this website belong to us, except third party logos, which belong to their owners.
Third party names and logos
Names and logos of funds or angel groups shown on this site are the property of their owners. They are shown to give context about the kinds of investors founders have connected with. They do not mean those firms endorse us.
Limits on our responsibility
We do our best, but we provide our service "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the issue came up. We are not liable for indirect losses such as missed deals or lost profits.
Consent to contact and updates
When you click to accept these terms, you agree that Zar Funding may reach out to you by phone call, email, and message. You also agree that your email is added to our business newsletter, so you receive regular updates about Zar Funding, our deal flow, introductions, and other news. You can stop the newsletter at any time using the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.
Cookies and data sources
We use cookies on our website to make it work and to understand how it is used. We may also add to your data using trusted third party data providers, and we only source data from providers who are GDPR compliant and HIPAA compliant. We may use your data to optimize our advertising. We never sell your data to any vendor or any other third party. Your data is private, encrypted, and stored on secure cloud services and on our own premises.
Your data
We handle your data as set out in our Privacy Policy.
Which law applies and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming. If a dispute comes up, both sides agree to first try to sort it out in good faith for 30 days. If that does not work, the dispute will be settled by binding arbitration in Sheridan County, Wyoming.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top. If you keep using the service after a change, that means you accept the new terms.
